This website
The community backend stores account details, profiles, messages, reactions and reports in the shared website database on our server. Email addresses are accessible to the account owner and backend administrator; public profiles and channel messages are visible to other visitors.
Browser storage
The community SDK keeps authentication state in browser local storage. Hidden-author preferences are also saved in local storage. Sign out to clear the active authentication state. No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this build.
Other services
Following external links contacts the destination service. Some imported articles contain embedded media; those providers may receive connection information and use their own storage when their embeds load. GitHub OAuth, if configured later, involves GitHub's authentication service.
GitHub showcases
Adding a GitHub username or featured repository makes those links public on your profile. Listing in the builders directory is optional. Refreshing statistics sends only the saved public username and repository names from our server to GitHub’s public API. We cache a limited set of public counts and repository metadata; no GitHub password, access token, email address or private repository is requested. Counts show their fetch date. Unlinking GitHub clears the displayed snapshot; a server cache may retain the public metadata until maintenance removes it.
Local AI and the website
This website does not automatically receive your local model prompts, project files or launcher memory. Sharing them in public messages makes them public. Never post API keys, passwords or confidential files.
Account control
Profiles can be edited from the profile page, and authors can delete their messages. For account export or deletion, contact eric@opensourcecoder.com from the registered email address. The operator can remove the account and its related profile and messages. Private reports are available only to authorized moderation staff. Server access logs support operations and abuse prevention; the archived former sites and operator backups are not public.
